I'm going to tap into all your experience and what is the concencus of Best time to arrive for camping

I usually get there right at 8 or soon after, it has worked out pretty well for me so far

we show up at 8 every year....and every year the wait to get in has gotten longer....we're pushing 3-4 hours now.

do not get there before 8 am!!!!!!!
the wait will improve from last year, as last year there were computer system issues hindering progress
make friends with those you are waiting in line with as they will be your neighbors

Making friends got old really fast in last year's brutal 5 hour wait in line.

i have faith that they have troubleshot everything and that they can shave that time down considerably!


of course, i know you are going vip this year, so its a moot point for YOU, personally

We always leave as early as possible, and seem to get there around 10ish... Usually a line to get in but just being at Seaside park makes it worth it.

the wait is what it is, but ultimately, the closer to 8 you get there, the earlier you'll get in and the sooner you'll be partying
