a lot of the time a breeze will keep them at bay if you are near the water
but there are definitely skeeters and stuff in the grassy and tree'd areas, especially away from the water
bring bug goo, especially if you are yummy to bugs like i am :plain:

not horrific at all, but better to be prepared

Coconut oils does wonders against pesky bugs. Of course, don't slather on the coconut oils and go out in the sun.....sunburns sucks more than pesky bugs.

Bring a carpet or tarp, blanket or whatever to put on the ground around where you chill at your campsite. Last year our ankles and feet kept being bitten by annoying little fuckers, whatever they were.....Posted Image

Just sit next to me and you won't have a problem. I swear, I could be in a room with 500 people and one mosquito and the little bastard will find me and only me.

didn't have a reaction like that either, just took note because I've never had a problem with bugs at Seaside before, and these guys were coming right through the repellant I was using...they seemed to be prevalent in the morning, disappeared when it started to cook, smart little buggers
