here we go Joke, and TASB and TtB, and whoever else usually disagrees with me... I'm sure this is something we can agree on.

Cheers to busting up these lazy unsympathetic bitches and bastards

hmm... I guess so...

they're definitely not customer service oriented... but then again I'm judging based on a limited sample...

just had a terrible time there today...

I pay my auto insurance and it hasn't lapsed, but for some reason there's a glitch in the DMV computer that my registration has been revoked due to lack of coverage.

Today, I was pulled over for the second time this week, and this was the reason given. The officer was very nice and told me that I should physically go to DMV, so I did. They told me there's nothing they can do, it's between me and my insurance company...

so anyway... who knows. I talked to the insurance company the other night and they said they'd re-submit it the proof of insurance...

but like I said, they were supposed to have done it the first time and it didn't go through.

oh, I also did the online thing and it said that DMV had my proof...

whatevs.

Makes one wonder what kind of computer system they are actually working with there.

Maybe the insurance company computers don't deserve to be in the union either.

I've had nothing but positive experiences in VT, NH, and, CO. Can't say the same about NY or MA. In VT, it took me all of 20 min to transfer an out of state licence and registration. YMMV ;)

I'm actually very much for the right of people to band together and collectively bargain. I'm also for the right of the people who do the hiring to say, "We're not going to give you what you're asking for. Go ahead and strike."

Many state and local governments outsorce its IT to outside non- unionized consultants. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

my DMV problem is fixed, so I'm not so bent out of shape any more.

Even assholes deserve to be in a union... so I rescind my original statement.
