That's why I love him...I was 9. I dont remember either, but then again, my parents prolly didnt even know who John Lennon was...

my dad was downstairs watching tv, the rest of us were already in bed - he came up and woke everyone up to tell us. I remember everyone driving with their headlights on during the day for days after....and I do that each year on the anniversary.
