Who knew back in 1997 that this would become such a tradition amongst me and my friends? It is something I would never miss for the world. It is usually the one vacation I get each year especially the past few years b/c times have been tough with money. I was only 20 years old when I went to my first Vibes and I'm 36 now. I grew up at this festival and never in my life has there been any other place where the kindness has been so palpable, the sharing, the caring of each one towards each other is something I know I have been priviledged to experience.
I know Ken, all of the crew and volunteers work so very hard to put together this festival every year and I thank you because I think if I didn't know or belong to a community like Vibes...I would've ended up a very different person.
So cheers! Thank you! Let's all pull together for a fabulous weekend! Be kind and considerate to each other, look out for fellow brothers and sisters and let your freak flags fly!
