I've always been a fan of Sabrett but I have only been eating red meat once a week lately so have been going with Turkey Dogs more often. I love hot dogs in my Ramen with green onions, peas and egg.
ramen noodles rule...I eat them even when I'm not broke!
hot dogs
chicken
leftover boneless dog ribs
beef
all go great with ramen noodles...
green onions no peas

RI local fav is the Saugy. Natural casing with a good bite. Mustard and celery salt yum.
Another unique RI hotdog experience is the N.Y. System hot weiners. NY System joints are all over the state. Terrible little hotdogs that smell exactly like armpits and don't taste much different. All the way is mustard, onions and celery salt and this weird meat sauce that isn't chili. Somehow its a delicious kind of armpittyness and you really want to eat 4.

Considering the RI chowder misinformation, I'm not believing a word of this.

by me, they are $5.99 - $9.99/lb. lower range being skinless Nathan's, Sabrett's, even BallPark's etc. it's kinda why I usually go with the natural casings (when I shop for me) camping/fests it's the cheaper skinless because everyone tells me they won't eat hot dogs but when I get the good un's they're chowed on and I don't even get one outta the lot!

no joke...I was told by my "friends" just by enough dogs for myself...no one will eat them...I'm off watching a band (Primus/Vibes) and when I come back I find that those fuckers ate 'em all...ALL!
One year at Vibes, on the first night, we returned to our campsite to find our friend huddled in the tent with empty bags of hotdog & hamburger buns. He ate them all.. like 3-4 bags worth.
We were bun-less for the remainder of the weekend.

Do all pork hot dogs exist? I want.
I've only seen porl and beef dogs but I think there is still a German Butcher in my town or at least a Polish butcher the next town over I will check!!!

It never fails, if there's something I really like to eat, I bring double because I know someone is gonna eat my meat treasures
kielbasi with some fried taters, yummmmmmmmmm.
when I bring double (although not the natural casings but sabretts) I have to give 'em away...I think the scarcity(sp?) of a food product makes it more worthy to scoff
