Beef, Pork or (gasp... Chicken)? Hebrew National, Oscar Meyer, Hummel, Sabrett, Nathans? What's your poison. Tabbooma digs all dogs, but partial to pork hummels (Probably because they are local), and please do not put a pickle or canned chili on his hot dog ;)

I'm on a Sabrett kick lately, last summer it was Nathan's.

I almost went with the Hebrew Nationals this past week. the reason I didn't was because they have 6 dogs per pack, and I have 8 rolls. these people need to have a meeting.

i prefer hebrew national or nathans. "beef franks" i don't really care for "hot dogs" too much. but they sure are delicious when they are cooked over a fire or on a grill.

i eat perhaps two hot dogs per year. it's usually following consumption of beer at a summer gathering of friends, and almost always i regret it (the hot dogs, not the beer) the following day.

so many fantastic sausages out there, and we eat these? :barf:

i just checked out their product page - it's almost entirely Polish sausage meats, with a few others thrown in. i'd eat the kabanos, kielbasa, or kiezka way before resorting to a "Frankfurt". however, i bet their franks are the best around, given that they specialize in other, delicious, Polish-type sausages.

New Britain has a nice Polish community, i have family up there.

I'll take hot links over hot dogs anyday!

Around here, "Niman Ranch" hot dogs are all the rage. They are OK I guess but still are questionable parts of cows ground up and reprocessed. No thanks.
