Hot Dogs...

I'm on a Sabrett kick lately, last summer it was Nathan's.
I almost went with the Hebrew Nationals this past week. the reason I didn't was because they have 6 dogs per pack, and I have 8 rolls. these people need to have a meeting.

i eat perhaps two hot dogs per year. it's usually following consumption of beer at a summer gathering of friends, and almost always i regret it (the hot dogs, not the beer) the following day.
so many fantastic sausages out there, and we eat these?
hot dogs are sausages and if ya get the natural casings almost all of 'em are tasty
but I hear ya...

they serve the purpose for a quick bite to eat while working the grill. I enjoy many fine sausages as well.

i understand, i'm saying there are fine sausages, and there are (most) hot dogs...i'm just being a snob.

I'm too lazy to cook sausages (real)...but thankfully my brothers are snobs too. Once in a while I get treated to venison (sp?) sausage...those kick ass!!!

They are from New Britain!
http://www.martinrosolsinc.com/
i just checked out their product page - it's almost entirely Polish sausage meats, with a few others thrown in. i'd eat the kabanos, kielbasa, or kiezka way before resorting to a "Frankfurt". however, i bet their franks are the best around, given that they specialize in other, delicious, Polish-type sausages.
New Britain has a nice Polish community, i have family up there.
I love the Nathan's or the Heebs the best, but I have a special place in my heart (the valves, actually...) for white hots.
I don't think we get the good kind around here. Ya gotta go to stupid Rochester.
i've always wanted to try a white hot. maybe a garbage plate from Tahou's or something. one day, i will.
