I'm coming from a motorola X.

I'm looking at the samsung nexus vs. motorola razr.

I could be persuaded to wait for the samsung galaxy S III.

Nexus is in the lead... with the fucking ridiculous $30 upgrade fee, it'll keep me under $200.

they want $199 + $30 for the razr & $149 + $30 for the nexus

I made a big mistake leaving my blackberry for easier scrolling on a touchscreen...I can't type at all on the touch screen.

the galaxy nexus is a fine phone, pure google makes for a nicer experience then samsungs shitty touchwiz wrapper....

Samsung uses touchwiz, a alternative launcher for android, it used to be helpful before the interface got better but in the most recent iterations of android the launcher is really quite good, and now touchwiz is just a resource hog.

the nexus line is controlled by Google and while it is running on Samsung hardware it us using a pure clean stock version of android.

I'll prolly pull the trigger on the Nexus this afternoon.

Same thing here. Until the keypad began to breakdown, keys getting stuck, not registering when I click 'em.

My next phone is gonna be a touch-type and I'm just gonna have to get used to it.

There are also rumors of iPhone 5 coming out, which would mean it'd be a waste to get an iPhone 4S now.

Yeah, you do know there is a 'battery problem' with the Nexus?

I rarely experience it, sinmce usually I work and have it plugged in to the USB off my monitor.

But I did eBay spare batteries, and have had to go to them on occasion

i hear about the battery issue, but seeing how large that screen is, I'm assuming that a it's a screen brightness thing too.

even on the X, the screen uses about 80% of battery resources at 100%, and the nexus screen is bigger and brighter.

I also have it tethered for a majority of the day so I'm less worried there, too.

Droid Razr Maxx! I absolutely love this phone. I'm on the phone all day for work and the battery lasts all day. The regular Razr I had to charge once or twice a day.

i have droid razr maxx and my battery kinda sucks.... usually I can get it in the orange (20%) in like 5 hrs.

I think its defective but unless I have no apps on it they won't really help me (and if I wanted a phone with no apps I would still be using my old phone) -

like 80% of battery life goes to the screen - it has been better since I set it to shut off after like 30 sec

biggest thing for me so far is how google accounts and chrome stuff syncs so flawlessly.. it's like having my desktop browser on my phone.

the screen is remarkable, the speed of it is impressive. i haven't been on a 4G network yet, but I'm sure that 's gonna be pretty awesome too.

it's like having a computer in my pocket, really.

haven't used it yet, but it's not that important to me.

I'd say it's as good as anything else stuck into a phone... I think the new razr has more MPs, but i don't think that's important. i know it takes better pics than my old phone, and that was enough for me.

what annoys me is that i am eligible for an upgrade, sprint is movign to an LTE 4g network. If i buy an LTE phone i am stuck on 3g cdma until january or so, if i buy a wimax 4g phone when sprint witches over i am stuck on a slower network until i get a new upgrade, this suckth...

Couldn't get flash to work on FF, so I uninstall that and stuck with the default browser of my Galaxy Nexus.
