happy birthday, ya old dirty hippie, you

hope it was a rager
were you surprised? did liz actually herd cats well enough to plan it all AND keep all the other hippies from letting you in on it?
if there is a thread about this already, please link me, i did a search but we all know how well the search feature works here
Thanks Dee!! It was absolutely amazing!! So much love in the room!! I am still grinning about the whole thing!
The bar was filled with lots of my favorites from Albany, both current and former, and some boardies who made their way from out of town to celebrate.
As James said I was totally surprised, even by the fake barbecuse that was put together to keep me occupied while the party was being set up at Valentine's. Her former gig as a planner for big-scale events at NYU came in rather handy! I was told later by several people that she made it very clear to everyone that under no circumstances was anything related to the events of Saturday to be discussed on Facebook.

She got most of the DeadBeats there, and even got the rest of the Ruckus there for a reunion set!!
So much fun!
Special thanks to everyone who had a hand in planning and to Howard at Valentine's for changing the date of a band's schedule show so the party could happen.
It was a night I will definitely not forget about!
