(side note: i can't believe they still make plastic applicators. it just seems so wasteful to me! i remember seeing one on the ground as a kid when a dog got into the neighbors' garbage and my brother telling me it was a slide whistle

should we all order them and send 'em to you so that you don't have to buy them for your kid for a while?

i like your idea sarah! let's do it! chocolate and periods are a much better idea than have a happy period. the person who came up with that slogan needs to be tarred and feathered.
thanks for the other free sample link, sarah! i like getting snail mail, too.

true story: my mom once did an emergency tracheotomy on a guy who was in a car accident on the GWB (1986, undiagnosed properly at the time and manic as hell, but a research scientist w/a Ph.D. in physiology who knows how to do that right). She used a vpad from her (surgical/first-aid) kit to mop up blood. She was able to get him breathing and stayed w/him until the ambulance got there and paramedics could take over. ((gauze))

if everbody ordered free samples and the people who don't use them donated them to their local food pantries (or to a food drive at a show), there would be a lot of people who might appreciate them. Or send to any female serviceperson. (PC dead, using phone, link later) or throw them in your first-aid kit/glovebox for random moment of need or wounds that are bleeding a lot (it's well-packed gauze on a string, kind of)

many, many years ago i had a late night bicycle accident. my chin was bleeding real bad, and i had no medical insurance. my friend at the time used some pads that she had in place of a first aid kit...it worked great aside from mockery by my friends.
