They sent me the final paperwork. I'm sure something could go wrong so I wouldn't make the show (Sweet Genius) so I'm NOT talking about it on my Twitter, but I had to tell someone.

I haven't seen the show either but it's nothing to do with the host or the show itself...just the fact that i'll want ot go to the bakery or even the supermarket and buy a shit load of goodies to eat!

you should bring home a random ingredient and have her make something with it

HAHAHA Yes! I know that's how people prepare for Chopped [another Food Network show that involves random mandatory ingredients].

but seriously now, congrats. regardless of this guy's on air stupidity and stab-ability, this is GREAT NEWS.
more importantly, where is the cupcake truck going to be on July 13 and July 18. not that i'm going to be in Philly on both of those dates or anything.

July 13th the Truck will be at Love Park from 11am - 3pm. The 18th, I do not believe she will be out.
We are only going to be open on Friday's at Love Park for most of July (sans 7/6/12 as we are going away), so we can focus on opening the store.

So... Kate had a follow up interview with the producers yesterday afternoon. They have not made any final decisions, but the lady said it is looking very good. Here are some quotes Kate told me about her phone call, but in my words, because I do not remember the quote verbatim.
Everyone here at the Food Network love you.
Everyone has a good story but your story is SOOOOO GOOOD!
What the producers liked most about her video she shot when she came up to NY was, Kate's heart was always in the right place but her dark sense of humor came through.
They liked that she used the word "mouth-gasm".
Kate described the phone call with the producer like a very good first date.

Again, nothing has been confirmed, but it is looking good. Filming will probably be in the end of July.
The bad part If chosen, will be not being allowed to speak of what happens, until it airs.
