yours (and mine) are (is) useless if we really want what is best for us ALL

of course, if you get off on oppressing others, well then, keep on clinging to yours

as for me, I appreciate when others remind me to quit clinging to mine

Once you experience moments of the greater consciousness you realize how insignificant your ego is, which blows it apart.

we all got an ego

I have moments of sublimation and I think we all do to varying degrees, and maybe that's what makes us different.

In fact, I don't even like calling it sublimation... but that's really what it is.

it just isn't what it sounds like

it's more of a nothingness but I can't say I learned it on my own

everything I know was taught to me by the universe

anyway this nothingness I'm talking about is where I just don't care

and I like it, and my organism feels better when it's in that state

and I guess that I just don't know

I don't think anything physical can get done in that state...

that's the nature of duality (in my opinion)

a constant shifting of spiritual to physical

and what you resist persists.

how many moments are in a second? ( that's not the answer, it's just a factor needed to come up with the answer)

I gotta go to bed soon, so I'll give you my answer.

There's an infinite amount of moments in a second

that's why a moment of enlightenment is way better than none.

the thing that I just now realized is if that moment can last an infinite amount of time, then you would be able to control the physical plane in ways unimaginable... like in the matrix

actually, I didn't know the answer but now I think I do and TEO helped me figure it out

confidence is similar to experience, and doesn't necessarily have an ego attached

arrogance doesn't necessarily require experience and is clinging desperately to an ego

I think it all comes down to whether a person thinks they are more important than anyone else.

Some people think they are the most important person in the world.

I would have to agree that each individual is the most important person in their own world, but in the whole grand scheme of things there isn't one of us that is more important than a mosquito.

I know that's an odd statement... it's so true that that it's not even funny.

mosquitoes suck.

anyway, as always, it's all relative

relativity is pretty much the law of the universe.

we're all made of the same stuff and share the same space.

we breathe the same air.

but still, some think of themselves as "us" and everyone else as "them"

the only cure for this situation I consider a disease is through the spread of information
