tasb, those stretches were brutal, but they helped!
i had no idea how tight my hips/legs were...i guess once you get used to that feeling you forget what it's like otherwise.
i was stretching for about 30 min last night & by the end my hips were soooo much looser!
my fave is that lotus stretch...it's actually quite comfortable. on the other hand that lotus pose feels so completely unnatural
i also picked up a foam roller on my way home & wow what a difference! talk about brutal! that shit hurt so bad for a while, but worked out most of the kinks...it's my new bff
you guys probably know about the foam roller already, but if you don't & you've got some soreness you can't work out, get it! it's great, for reals

it's like a pool noodle, but denser. i got one from modells...target sells them too.
avoid the cheap white ones...i heard they're a bit too soft & break down easily.
you just roll the sore part of your body over it, like the dude in this video
<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/c9aJtO0VCqw?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/c9aJtO0VCqw?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Bi's, back and ab rippers tonight, brehs.
I'm pumped. I've got to keep the energy high, mang. last night was one of those reminders about slackin'. I slack'd.
I'm going to up my weight tonight on the bi's, brehs. Get that true, raw, complete swole on and then go mack some wookettes at the pub.

junk, yes
the number is deceiving for sure. i wear a size 4. not a curvy girl (no hips or boobs really) so i try to keep some fat on in order to keep whatever little curves i do have.
my thinnest was when i first started biking about 5 yrs ago. i got down to 122, wearing a size 0 & even the 0 jeans were beginning to get a little loose
i was so freaking lean, but i lost my butt & was accused by some of having an eating disorder (i didn't). no one considered me "fit", rather just "too skinny" & i don't like being "too skinny".
right now i'm just trying to maintain my weight & increase muscle definition.

350 core/ab moves every other day. Cardio on the off day. Eat good whole foods.
So far, I am 6 weeks into this program and I don't think super abs is going to be the end result from the first rotation. But, I also had a nice beer tire to kick to the curb in the process. I'll have to wait until the very end to make any solid judgements about this plan.
