What are yous bruhs doing for cardio?
are you strictly into lifting?
Posted 30 September 2010 - 02:23 PM
i cycle & run outdoors
cycling burns more calories in an hour than running does & is easier on the joints so i ride much more than i run.
although once the weather turns cold, dark & shitty cycling season is officially over & i'm strictly running.cardio burns fat...i know you're not trying to be super lean, but i think you have to incorporate some cardio into your routine. have you tried short, easy runs or jumping rope?
a bike or stairmaster will work your lower half more than running while still cardio based...maybe that's best for you.

Picked up some new cross-trainers (Unbroken Chain, $70 if your paying attention) and a new yoga mat today. I'm gonna order 5,10 and 20 lb weights to use along side the resist bands too me thinks.
Kenpo today. Fun ass stuff. Blocking, punching, kicking....lots of cardio, lots of balance...lots of technique. Good Saturday wookout.
Tomorrow is stretch and relax for me.
See you bruhs Monday for arms, shoulders and abs.

you don't have to order free weights...kmart & target usually have a pretty good selection of that stuff
did nothing this weekend. had my hair done saturday & didn't want to have to wash it for a couple days...i'm such a chick
back on the wagon tonight

Yeah, I realize that. Then I also has to carry the weights home too. If I get them delivered to my house, I no longer have to lug them 3 miles home.
City life'd.
You spent money getting your hair done?
Yeah, you definitely have no claims at all to het-n-bruh. Having said that...... #1s?

moderation is key
i think the best thing anyone can do for themselves is to limit processed foods as much as possible. the sugars, sodium & other additives are not doing anyone any good whatsoever.
& for all those packaged items you just can't live w/o...read the labels VERY carefully!
i don't agree w/ cutting caffeine. sure, 5 coffees/day is a bit excessivebut 1 definitely has its health benefits.
everyones digestive system reacts differently to gluten. i would recommend trying to go gluten-free if you've been having issues.
as for soy...it contains phytoestrogens so i try to stay away from it most of the time.
tasb just curious, where did you find this?

about the only thing 'processed' I eat are Pro-Max Protein Bars. About the only thing I eat out of box are a fish sandwich once a month, crackers and pasta. I'm good for about ten sodas a week though and a fair amount of low carb gatorade. All my meals are made from scratch.
right now I'm holding steady, weight wise. I dropped 20 pounds then lightened up on the cardio. Hitting hard this week though. I think that alone will drop the last 10 pounds I need to.
