I was far out of my comfort zone at Strange Creek. I gave in to the Warrior Princess :pimp:

Then my boss must want me to live it up. And here I thought it was just the staff reductions driving his ludicrous expectations.

So what have you done lately to be outside your comfort zone?

Sat night....my bass shit the bed right before our set. I played this entire show using a five string bass (which ive NEVER EVER playe before sat night)

Also played a venue in Nyack NY friday with Newton Crosby....when FiKus drummer jumped on stage, and we went completely OFF the setluist, yet still managed to crush it thoroughly.

I also took a SOLO AC*D TRIP ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON, AND FORCED MYSELF TO BE WITH MYSELF FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS IN DEEP TRANCE. tHAT WAS REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE, BUT HAD A HUGE AYOFF TOWARD THE END.

i don't think life begins when you leave your comfort zone. you can 'live' well in your comfort zone, and you can 'live' poorly in your comfort zone...i think the real virtue is knowing the difference...

babies require comfort. not adults. if you never challenge yourself, you will never ever know what you are capable of, what your limits are, and what is actually possible.
