I'm happy for the awesome shows I caught, and figure it's better to cal it on your own terms than to blur into lameness...

I definitely agree, but it should have been a joint statement from the entire band. At the very least Mickey should have been included in the announcement.

Yes, that for sure. Kinda bizarre that it was handled in any other way.

Never understood Ween, and I've had them shoved down my throat for years. Caught them live. Just not my cup of tea I guess. One man's genius is another man's unlistenable crap.

Diddy..you took the words right out of my mouth. Never cared for Ween at all. To each their own but Ween never did it for me.

I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of most of their studio work. I can say that for a lot of bands I love, but it's probably the most true concerning Ween. It's really difficult to appreciate the musicianship with most of the studio material.

That said, I have absolutely loved seeing them live the few chances I've gotten over the past few years. Wish I wasn't so late to the party now that it's over.

:lmao: :clapping:

The ironing is that I bet most Phish fans totally dig on their cover of "Roses Are Free" :funny1:

I do! I do dig Roses are Free. I like the Ween version of it too.

None of their other music reminds me of Roses are Free.

I always questioned the Roses are Free Cover from Phish

I much would have rather Phish done something like Transdermal Celebration

or Voodoo Lady

Ween is not appropriate for a family friendly festival like Vibes
