Two years ago, the platform for VIP to view bands was right next to the soundboard. It was perfect! Last year, it was in front of the VIP tent. When bands like Furthur came on, it was very difficult to see because everyone was smushed up to the front. In the VIP FAQ, you wrote "equipped with comfy couches, a stage side viewing platform" Is that going to be where it was last year? My vote is soundboard/ Not to sound like I'm complaining but this will help me to decide VIP or regular.

i have heard nothing to indicate that the platform will be moving this year. I would say expect it to be in the same position as 2011.

IASW was hoping the platform would be up on the roof of the Wahlstrom Library.

I thought last year's platform was the best yet. My vote is to leave it right there. There's an added benefit of it making enchanted forests...

I heard they were expanding the platform to cover the entire field. Unimportant people will have to crawl under or climb the central tree. Pretty psyched about the shade it will provide. Maybe some free spilled beer too!
