[Misha]

My kitty cat, Misha (who I named myself after when I signed up on the boards) died at the age of 15 almost 2 weeks ago. It wasn't a complete surprise (he had diabetes and possibly other issues that hadn't yet been tested). He died on our way to the vet. He had started to deteriorate so I'm glad he's at peace now but it's been a very painful and sad couple of weeks.

It's kind of funny because I posted about it on Facebook right after it happened but I had trouble coming up with a way to write "Misha died" on this board without it sounding morbid or like it was me who had passed away! Oy, my brain has been so scattered these last few months.

Anyway, Misha was a wonderful cat and I'm going to miss him like hell. Jude is really upset about it. We've promised him another animal but we're just not emotionally ready yet.

I'm so sorry Mary! It's always tough when you lose an animal companion. May God's love be with Misha, you, Howie and Jude. I believe that animals do go to heaven. I mean after all, how could it be heaven without our pets?

so sorry Royal....Maybe you could come play with my lil guys and it may bring a smile to your face. I have lost many animals and people and am here for you if you need me. Stop by the airport to visit soon. Text me or message to let me know if u will come visit. I would LOVE to see you!


Next week if you wanna stop by either Tues or Wed I am home. My lil guy is getting surgery. Love you buddy
