oh man it's worse than I thought! Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg are leaving too!

Wow! Looks like there's gonna be another talent gap next season.

There's been a "talent gap" on SNL for the past 15 years. The writing generally sucks with an occasional moment of brilliance. Haven't watched regularly since the 90's.....

The cast with Ferrell, Kattan, Oteri, Gasteyer and Shannon was excellent, but that was at least 10 years ago.

Sometimes there are some good moments with Bill Hader and Fred Armisen, but they lean way too much on Kristin Wiig's annoying characters.

One man's opinion.

What talent gap are you talking about. 15 years ago was the David Spade era. I think everyone on the show today is better than D. Spade. But just my opinion. I just think you are selling the show short, and have not given it a fair chance in 15 years. Yeah of course they have some duds, but I think the show has been fantastic for the past few years.

As for Kristin Wiig.

Lorne Michaels thought she was a genius. He had her in on everything that went on AIR. She was invloved in casting decisions, and helped Lorne make decisions on what makes it to air.

As you may have noticed she got the emotional send off. Sedakis and Samberg did not get the same love as Wiig. Why, because she meant more to the show.

I did not know how much Lorne leaned on Kristin, I think this is why those annoying characters got on air. I also, do not like her Target employee, or the little hand woman. Otherwise she is great.

Not a fan of her at all... I have found her funny on other things (Flight of the conchords, movies) but on SNL, I thought her characters were the worst.

The last time I REALLY loved this show was the Sandler, Farley days, but the late 90's/early 2,000's had some really funny moments too.
I still tune in but I don't laugh as often.

I thought she was great when she didn't do her characters. Her characters sucked. Gilly, little hands, etc. They were bad.

I do like the cast right now but losing sedakis and sandberg will hurt. While Jason Sedakis isn't the most hilarious guy he is very under rated imo and is solid on the show.

Some of the skits right now are good. The miley Cyrus show and Being quirky with Zoey Daschnel are funny. I like Bill Hader and Fred Armeson and Tarim Gilliam is going to be the next guy that takes over.

Keenan Thompson's "Scared Straight" sketches are still funny.

I like Keenan on the show!! I thought he was pretty funny as Rev. A.L. Sharpton on Saturday night.

I thought the concept was funny, and I did like it... but I thought the "celebrity judges" were terrible, along with the Dave Matthews impression
