The Queens County Farm Museum's history dates back to 1697; it occupies New York City's largest remaining tract of undisturbed farmland and is the only working historical farm in the City. The farm encompasses a 47-acre parcel that is the longest continuously farmed site in New York State. The site includes historic farm buildings, a greenhouse complex, livestock, farm vehicles and implements, planting fields, an orchard and herb garden.
Our farm animals and tranquil agrarian environment provide the opportunity to leave the hectic daily pace behind for an enjoyable visit to a farm without leaving the City.
The Queens County Farm Museum is owned by the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, operated by the Colonial Farmhouse Restoration Society of Bellerose, and is a member of the Historic House Trust of New York City.
Our reception will be in the barn
Cocktail hour under the Pavilion
We will have our ceremony under a tree!!!

I LOVE it!! Congratulations! If you're ever around and want company to go look at wedding stuff with, or want to go have some drinks, let me know. I'm around every other weekend with nothing to do, Rob's a dj in the city, and Julia is with her dad.

I'm so happy to announce that we've booked The Round Room at The Carlu for our jubilee!
We'll be hosting the cocktail reception, ceremony, dinner and dance all in the same space.
I'm super stoked b/c The Round Room is such a beautiful example of Art Moderne design and we plan to encourage folks to dress in the style of the era when The Carlu was built... Plus, my dad grew up pretty much kitty-corner from College Park, and my mom's grade 2 class performed and won an award in The Carlu's concert hall back in the '50s so there is actually some family history that accompanies the venue!
We plan to hold the ceremony standing in front of the fountain with our guests gathered in a circle around us.

Thanks! We both really adore the idea of having a circle of love surrounding us while we exchange our vows... I wasn't sure that we'd be able to get this venue, so I am incredibly happy that everything worked out... The space just suits our style so well.... Verrrrrry exciting!

QUeens Farm Museum? That is AWESOME! I just spent a ton of time checking out there site.
OK embarrassing - I lived in Queens for 37 years and never even knew this place existed.
What a great place for a wedding!
