Is it still his "book tour"? I know the winter tour involved him reading from The Book of Drugs and mixing it with songs. I like his solo stuff but prefer when he has his solo band with him. either way he is on my shortlist of people I would like to see. And free is always good.

I saw him a couple years ago at mexicali with his solo band.. great show.. place was packed.
He did finally relent to the crowd and played True Dreams, but he normally will not play any Soul Coughing songs.
I know nothing of this book tour, so i can't comment, but if it's him and his band GO GO GO GO GO.

I think it is the 'book tour', but ill reconfirm it. I actually know more of his solo stuff, so I most likely wont know the difference between \\\\\\\\\\\\ when a soul coughing song pops in.. I really hope the band will be there.
I'm excited to finally be able to check out the Westhampton beach Performing Arts Center....they have some great acts there.

You get the ankles and I'll get the wrists. you get the ankles and I'll the wrists. you get the ankles and I'll grab the wrists, it comes down to this. OOOH. AH, OH

And the radioman says it is a beautiful night out there!
And the radioman says Rock and Roll lives!
And the radioman says it is a beautiful night out there in Los Angeles
you live in Los Angeles
and you are going to Reseda;
we are all in some way or another going to Reseda someday
to die
and the radioman laughs because
the radioman fucks a model too

It is the solo Acoustic performance.....
"Former leader of the band SOUL COUGHING, this Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter has reinvented himself as a solo artist with his new release, YES AND ALSO YES.Hypnotic rhythms and stark, dusky melodies highlight poetic lyrics which address topics from personal to political.As a bonus, he'll weave excerpts from his new book "The Book of Drugs" - a candid, self-lacerating memoir - into this incredibly unique solo acoustic performance." should be interesting.
