is there anywhere you can put a popup up besides RV camping?

if the combined lenght of the car and trailer are under 25 feet, i think you are OK.

Any RV or combined car-pulling-a-trailer set-up that is over 25 feet in length must have an RV Pass. If your pop up & Tow vehicle together measure under 25 feet you can use it any where. You cannot unhitch your pop up from your tow vehicle.

Generators are only allowed in the RV area.
