Working at a Physical Therapy Center, I experienced the benefits of the golf ball.
The method is simple, as you are seated or standing, one foot at a time, roll the golf ball all over the soul of the foot, rocking the foot forward, back and side to side. Improves blood flow and massages foot fat pads.
Easy relief for the feet. Bring a few for the group this year, you will never go to another festival without one.

Man, my tootsies are always sore towards the end of the weekend. Especially the pads of the feet. Working at a Physical Therapy Center, I experienced the benefits of the golf ball. 1. NEVER wear new shoes/sandals of any kind at a fest
2. always bring gold bond - its an excellent preventative measure sprinkled in your socks when you put them on
3. always bring GOOD socks and 2 pairs more than you think you could possibly need...if they get wet, change them asap
4. put sunscreen on your feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOTHING is worse than not being able to touch the tops of your feet for the rest of the weekend
if you find you get rub sores or blisters, make sure you have my foot first aid kit -
a package of moleskin
some medical tape (the thin, light kind hospitals use, can buy in a CVS or walgreens)
a tube of neosporin, the numbing kind is a plus
small pair of scissors
bandaids are optional but work good as the first layer of protection before you wrap it to make sure no further damage is done
i clean the area and dry it thoroughly
apply neosporin to a bandaid and cover the area completely
put moleskin over the bandaid and asses where the shoes will rub over it so you can make sure to place it so it wont peel back or rub off
once positioned perfectly, apply tape over it completely so its waterproof/sweatproof/psychedelic hay proof
be prepared for the dramatic white spot on your bad case of wookie foot when you take off your shoes
works for me and this year will be my 10th vibes in a row so these are very tested and approved methods
< spent a lot of time dressing my Peas tootsies last year, and was glad i could help so much!
