And the bees make the honey...I just crack the whip.
If there are any farmer's markets local to you, there's usually a beekeeper or two...

Gonna probably be a year before I have any meaningful amount. Starting over this year because a bear wiped me out last year. And the bees make the honey...I just crack the whip.

Winnie the poo wiped you out...epic!
"Farmer markets" are a little suspect to me...some people resell shit they did not grow....

Pretty easy to tell by looking at what's being offered/talking with the folks at the market if it's local/from a small farm, or from a big corporate outfit, I think.
Yup...."how many hives do you have, how far do your bees go, how much do you harvest from each hive, how much do you have to leave so they survive the winter"....pretty easy to pick out the bullshitters....just trying to find a source without going to a bullshitter market...

There is a guy in Carlisle that sells honey in combs... I will be going to my local organic farm this week, I'll talk to them about other beeks...Any of them sell in the cones (not sure that is the correct term), I love it that way instead of in the jar even if the cones are seconds (cheaper that way)?

Yup....I like my honey and I've been without it for some time. Plus my organic hydro cucumbers are flowing for months and they are too lazy to spread pollen a couple of inches so I have no cucumbers to eat....I have to jack off plants(for pollen) for something to eat...other than that I'm not grumpy.
