Too excited and nervous to sleep! Been up since 4am my time.

Job is forest technician for the us forest service, specifically ill be on a four person crew called the "wilderness strike team" doing trails, campsites, invasive spicies inventorying throughout NM and AZ until September.

Pumped to get going on this project! Looking forward to a "fresh start" in the workplace.. - only seem to get so many of those as I get older

Sarah, I have to do that every night, but it has gotten a little better. The real test will be next month as we venture out into wilderness areas for 4 to 7 days at a time. Luckily I know a lot about ultra lightweight camping, but still, is gonna be a challenge.

Awesome first week this week, feeling good about everything.
