Are you sure it's your work and not something you are missing out on during your hours like a spending time with your loved ones or drinking Molson? If it's truly your work then might I suggest some herb to make the experience better? Best case it calms you down and worse case is you get fired........ heck that might be another best case.

Attacks happen to me anytime anywhere, I'll be chillen with my friends/at a party/ day 3 of a fest, and BANG! I've heard that a decent low-sugar, etc. diet helps - but I'll have to start keeping track of that.
Herb helps, but it's still a matter of set & setting. your pre-eminent mindset will color in whatever shapes are around you. Perhaps meditation, but I won't play the authority on that one...I'm way fidgety and lack discipline most times...i .gotta work on that i guess...

My oldest daughter suffers sever anxiety disorders along with military induced PTSD. She no longer drives a car in places she's unfamiliar with after the last near miss she had with her baby in the car.

Work has really stressed me out wherever I've worked. It pushed me to anxiety, suicidal thoughts and hospitalizations. Now I'm on disability and doing volunteer work. Things are much better. I remember when I was working a call center for an insurance company. I got an award in the morning for taking extra time to help a customer then in the afternoon I got written up because my call stats said my calls were too long. arghh.
Hope this has been resolved cJ. Sending lots of love your way.

I absolutely could not bear the thought of going to my job I was doing anymore so I quit. I am now a life skills facilitator for adults with acquired traumatic brain injuries and I love love love it!
What a difference it is to go to a job you want to be at.

wow, thanks for the replies! i haven't been around much in the last couple of months. i belatedly appreciate the support. the anxiety was definitely situational. once i quit that job (six days after my original post), i started to feel better every day. i could eat again, i started sleeping again and the anxiety started to melt away. and now, i have started my own home daycare.

someone in our circle of cma survivors compiled a list of the articles in the saga of a fake montessori school. if you feel like reading, click a link, any link. this is where i used to work!
suffice to say, the articles barely scratch the surface. the people who owned that place are wretched and BOY did i make a mistake when i thought that taking a job there would be better than being unemployed.
although, maybe not, because it totally pushed me out of my comfort zone and led me to start my own program, which has benefits that go way beyond just not working for wretched miscreants anymore.
