Was a hoax, Mark from WT posted on their Facebook page this morning dismantling the rumor

Roping off space for a large group may not work according to the responses on that Facebook thread. Sounds like people are ready to rip down caution tape or rope to stake claim :-/

That's unfortunate, that was the only way we were all able to camp together in 2010. Having friends living nearby was certainly helpful.
