I just trapped a mouse under a box top.
Now what do I do with it? :dunno:

The box top is to a carton of paper, so it's pretty big.

I do like the cat idea, but there's no cat here at work.

Kill it. It will come back inside if you put it outside. My parent's exterminator told them that the mice don't usually live in the house they come in to get food and bring it back to their vermin nest.

Agreed. It's not pleasant, but you'll be dealing with it again if it's just released. And there are plenty of mice in the world. One fewer will not be missed.

If I ever catch mice (cats usually get 'em first), I take 'em off to the woods, making sure I've crossed at least one stream/brook/river.

he's expecting my answer to be snap its fucking head off but that only works with a TRAP!

i have trapped them under a colander, slid cardboard underneath, duct taped the colander to it and drove several miles before releasing.
