Sex duh.

And I like hiking the Fells and Blue Hills. The company is stellar, the terrain challenging, and the weather has been stupendous!

Spring? Damn cold out right now. I don't care what anyone says, it is Spring when it is warm enough to walk in shorts, but cool enough to wear a sweater.

Either way, I am looking forward to a Spring hike up in the Adirondacks.

What's the recipe? That actually sounds good. Never tried them. Are they ramps, or wild leeks?

Ramps, wild leeks, same thing.

I use the recipe for canning onions out of the ball blue book. From memory something like

4 quarts of ramps
2 quarts vinegar
2 cups sugar
1 cup of salt
1/4 cup mustard seed
7 bay leaves
Hot peppers

I have a patch behind the house that is pretty big but yesyerday i went to a friends parents and must have 3 plus acres of them.

I know of 6 or 7 patches around here and all are eastern facing hardwood slopes. Not sure what the relationship is but that is where they are around here.
