A Weedville woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident in Cameron County Saturday evening.
Emporium-based state police say Pamela Cousins was killed in the mishap, which occurred around 6 p.m. on Route 555 west of Huston Hill Road in Gibson Township.
Cousins was driving a 2003 Jeep Wrangler west when she lost control of the vehicle on the wet road.
It spun clockwise, went off the north side shoulder and hit a tree, then rolled onto its driver's side.
Cousins was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially thrown from the vehicle.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by Cameron County Coroner Theodore Walters.
Her passengers - Henry Amacher, Steven Aharrah and Margaret Aharrah - suffered moderate injuries.
There was no further information on their conditions.
The vehicle sustained severe damage.

yay!! From Gary:
Dad is great...actually going to work tomorrow. He had strained muscles in his shoulder and some bumps and brusies. Mom is doing great also. She was up on a chair all day today. She is in a back and neck brace. She had surgery on her shoulder and neck the other day and is recovering nicely. She is going to have a long road ahead of her but has a great attitude about it
