instant grits suck. quick grits take about 5 minutes to cook and have much less crap than the instant ones.Hmmm.. Did not know there was a quick grit, must be a tad slower than an instant.
The only grits Tabbooma has ever tried was at Rothbury, they served up some cajun spice with shrimp grits, they were pretty darn good...
nothing if you want them to remain plain.What do you put on plain grits?

i discovered grits on my own. growing up in a jewish household in new jersey, grits were not a mainstay.Okay, curious how many people eat grits in the northeast, Cur did mama cur feed them to you when you were a young cur? Nevrmore were you raised on them? Tabbooma is aware they are a southern staple, just never saw or ate them growing up. Tabbooma's gonna give them regular grits a try and will report back to you all.
