i sunsetted yesterday (wasn't much of a sunset, but i was at the beach after dropping off the boys). best part: a red fox ran across my path while i was heading back down Mt. Grey Road.

I LOVE seeing foxes. its so rare that it happens.

my best fox sighting: morning after we got a foot of snow in Poquott, i left the compound to take in the views at the beach on Port Jeff Harbor. it was bright sun on fresh white snow, and between me and the water, a red fox came trotting through. we couldn't have been ten feet apart. he stopped briefly to stare me down, then trotted off. his fur against the fresh powder was just gorgeous.
