I think that would be most fun ever, but with my new work schedule I'd have to take a whole "week" off for this thurs fri sat fest.
If I get fired before then, I'll prolly go.

Been to this year:
Some Kind of Jam (first time back since 2009, great time I liked the new venue and layout)
Uphoria Festival (awesome new smaller fest catering to dance-electronica bands/djs)
Mighty High Festival (only camped on Friday night to hang, didn't hear any live bands)
Plan on:
Baconfest
The Come Up Festival (missing stonehenge).... http://www.facebook....icfestival/info
Freedom of Expression 2 Festival ......http://www.facebook.com/events/354918161234327/
Exodus Music and Arts Festival ..... http://exodus.3owl.com/
51 Basscamp Festival
The return of the NY Harvest Fest!

I was about to add Bonaro after seeing an ad in the Providence Phoenix but I just noticed the Manchester is not Manchester NH. I don't know how you folks manage the logistics of camping festivals that require airfare.
We do it all the time. Get a large gear bag on wheels for tent, air matress, tarp, small chair and we have a handheld scale to ensure it is not over 50lbs. Then we pack other stuff in a cooler on wheels and check it as luggage

Yeah Bonnaroo is kind of tricky though. you need a lot of stuff to survive out there. It's fucking hot.

so glad to see so many of you heading to Catskill this year along with GOTV. MY personal 2 favs.
This. Catskill was one of my favorite 2011 fests. Had a huge 16 bed cabin for 3 people..at least this year we have 10 or so people for our cabin. Best part is all the stages are covered so bad weather poses no problems for the music. Such a beautiful venue. Finally was able to sell my All Good tickets so I'll be doing the Vibes/Chill combo again.

Agreed. I would never go back there. Between the heat and walking.... However, we have a Kelty car canopy that only weighs 4 lbs that we also pack in a gear bag when we fly and need to bring a canopy.
