Alright, enough of the pussyfooting. I think I would do a kick ass job at being a volunteer admin for Terrapin (that means, I'd do it for free).
I've been a reliable member for a while.
Maki and other tech folks can attest to my epcot knowledge of the internets and message boards.
BTW, I've actually been a professional community manager before.
And, Maki totally endorsed me in the tech / trouble shooting forum... Kang'd.

I'm guessing that anyone who would request to have this
added to the emoticon list on THIS board doesn't have much of a shot 
Although based on past history, the vetting process here is certainly suspect
On the other hand if you had your way I would still be banned so THAT will probably score you a few points with some people

I share the same issue with not feeling like I'm able to charge for it. I know I'm prolly pretty good in bed but can't muster up the nerve to ask for money in the morning. If you find a solution please share it with your brothers.

Looks like your short-lived fantasy has zero chances now. Seriously, we were rooting for you. But you've been around along enough to know that any Hitler emoticon isn't going to play well around here. And still you went there...
Honestly, I had no idea. Surely I can understand that people are sensitive on the whole killing of 6 million human being from a specific group (yet without forgetting about the other 2+ million that were also killed from various other groups for various reasons).
But, the thought never crossed my mind that the smiley would be an issue. I did think OTHER smileys could be found offensive and therefore I did not request them to be uploaded (I've seen some MESSED UP smileys...) But that one? It's a smiley, not an endorsement for mass murder...
I guess there's a little hypocrisy in every message board code of conduct... This is the big :nono:
(man, I should've requested THAT smiley.. Can we still make that happen?) I'll make sure I stay away from it. My friend Dougie however... Has got some jokes he'd like to tell...

You really didn't think there'd be an issue with a smiley or emoticon or whatever you call it that contains a swastika?
