My cute hat that I am knitting with dpn's! Yes, dpn's! 
My friend Aly came over from work and taught me some tricks. I'm even more of a knitting queen now! Woot!
Rich made the 3 of us dinner...so tasty! Chicken stir fry and spicy wontons!
I really really really hope that I will have a snowday tomorrow...knitting all day on the couch, Rachael Ray at 10am, and hanging with the dogs and kitties...ahhh!

No snow day (Rich drove me in), but I did get to knit a few rounds on my new hat, and work is pretty empty looking so far! 
My Fiber One peanut butter bar was tasty.
Rich made me a delicious wrap for lunch. He packed me a little bag.

Ooh...new nose ring?! Post pictures! I've been wanting to pierce my nose FOREVER! Do they make teeny tiny little studs so it would be appropriate to wear to work?!
I got a tiny little pink "diamond"....it's so small no one at work noticed it until it was pointed out
I love it I wish I had done it sooner 
I'll have to get some more pictures

(I still regret taking out my industrial barbell on my right ear. Hmph. I also had that little flap pierced on my left ear...I can't think of what it's called...you know what I mean, but I took that out, too. The hole is still there, but I haven't got the balls to jam it through since it pretty much healed itself.
)

Right now, I am so blessed. I start a new job in 12 days, and I can actually claim the statement that I have a boyfriend.. and were going away on vacation together. And I like him. WTF is that about. something's got to go wrong. lol.

Its making me happy to know I'm worth it.
Its making me happy that I'm thought of when someone else's plans change
And I'm overall just really thankful for the many amazing people in my life who know when I need a hug whether its long distance or from the same state.
I'm blessed and it makes me very happy.

i am happy for this beautiful life of mine, and for all the love and fun and friendship and good times i've been blessed with and will be blessed with in the future.
i am happy for XM radio, and schmoopie love songs in the morning. and music in general, for all the enjoyment it brings me.
i am happy to be up 10 minutes before my alarm as the sun peeks through my window, and for warm happy purring kitties who love that too. to awake smiling and glad to face a new day.
i am happy to feel hugged, even from a distance.

Yay Thuggie!!
These things happened last night, but are still making me happy today!
*Playing music with my housemates and a good friend to a bar of mostly familiar smiling faces, and getting paid and some free drinks in the process!
*Deciding to take a snow day and being both lazy and productive, catching up on some reading, some house/office organization, while catching up on some CDs to burn.
*Seeing my brother who lives close to me for the first time since the summer, and having a fun dinner with him and his best friend.
Good times, good times!

after we had a conversation about being thankful, a friend send me this forward. i liked it and think it has a place here, even if it has nothing to do with the Hopis of Arizona, as is usually the case with these forward thingies

I got Jim Phish tickets and he is so happy... which makes me so happy!
Got through a horrible week ( I mean bad ass week) one of the worst ever!
Less than 6 weeks until this little boy is outta me
It's Friday!!!
No huge plans this weekend except getting baby stuff together...

- i got tickets for Camden! and so did some friends
- it's FRIDAYYYYY!!!!!!
- i got the chairs i needed for tomorrow
- i am surprisingly alert and happy for only getting three hours sleep
- annual review = "exceeds expectations" almost across the board
- when i get home tomorrow night my love will be waiting to soothe whatever hurts
