Having the day off with my kids. They enjoyed having me drive them around to every playground on the face of this planet and maybe a few other planets...okay....I had a really good time as well. Watching the visiting Mallard ducks playing in the lake behind the place I rent a room.....I wish I was a duck at times....fly fly away to warmer climates. Thoughts of having 5 days off Thanksgiving week....yeah good thoughts, smiles and such.

Got myself a membership to the awesome wholesale food/everything store out here today. I will be going tomorrow after work to get a restaurant sized jar of jalapenos to bring to taco night at the bar/restaurant down the street. They have run out of jalapenos one to many times on me, and I need to make a serious statement. Other than that I've got nothing for today. Well, TEO made me . Spanks, TEO!

Reconnecting with someone I've known for years but have been out of touch with and finding out that connection is still as strong as it was before all the messed up stuff went down in my life

Starting to move forward with becoming an *gulp* adult (sorta), and finally reaching out to an organization which could really help me get work (good work) and looking at going back to school in a more serious way as another alternative

Finally starting to ignore the naysayers and the doubters in my day-to-day world who would hold me back for reasons I don't quite understand if I were to heed their "advice"

coming back to the boards and seeing lots of old friends that i love and miss.
makayla doing so well in school dispite all the change that happend this year.
being busy with work but still manage to have some sort of life
a handfull of best friends that i can talk to any time of day about anything at all
this new man that has come into my life and made me realize why all my other relationships have not worked out....he is a keeper for sure

Just got done spending spending what might of been the most lazy day of my life and it was great. Other than cooking some home fries and walking my part time dog I did nothing...gotta do some lazy day repeats....so relaxing. 5 days off for the white people holiday called Thanksgiving fill my mind with happy thoughts....

- FEMA flood insurance and my family having the foresight to have it despite the cost.
- though we don't know yet whether or not the house will be condemned, we've been cleared to start clearing out belongings, sheetrock, etc. yay, progress!
- my new job
- that our missing Lucy so much has led to determined puppy searching
- the amazing produce outlet that's totally worth the half hour drive to get to it
- Thanksgiving this week, and spending it with family that acts like family
- kind friends who help when they can

Reflecting back on a great weekend, being 100% full when it comes to being happy, warm...really warm thoughts of future stuff, back to my roots of doing what I do in 3rd world places oh and getting over a weekend of being sick as fuc even though I was comforted and such oh that that felt so nice.... ~my sister came to visit today and brought loads of gourmet food that I can just heat up for dinner for me and mom

~finding 6 cases of NEW coats to bring to a shelter today in a hurricane devastated area

~getting a phone call from a friend who had enough canned good to fill my car so I could bring it to a neighborhood that sorely needed it

~having a strong body that can continue to unload trucks, deliver supplies and keep on keepin on

~my mom feels SO much better this week and is so much less confused

Christmas Eve with the whole in law family was really nice and then I got to drive down the street to see my oldest and dearest friends and listen to my boy play the blues with Hannes on the harp. Joy.

Reading a book and marking the mofo up with my thoughts and such. In doing so and with the content of the book I've learned a shit ton about how people interact and fail to interact and how I feel about someone else teaching me something. Other than that, I had a great holiday season with someone special, ate some most excellent vegan food, laughed, cried, enjoyed movies....on and on...good times!
