- the ability to open our home to loved ones, and that we're all getting along pretty well so far
- the adorable miss Lucy who keeps us all laughing at her snorts and deep sighs and cuteness
- electricity. sometimes you really don't know what you've got 'til it's gone.
- the folks who are working hard to keep things moving in the right direction through all this.
- hope for the shore towns that wasn't there a day ago. it will take years to recover, but a lot of it will recover and that is huge

My clients made me really happy today. I was meeting with one, a really lovely lady, and she says to me, "Wow- your hair looks so beautiful today! It's really something! You're an image, like the Virgin Mary!" Three of my coworkers almost pissed themselves.

This made me
And yes, friends are accounted for and I am hoping for a safe night for all.
Pups, snow, wine, a new Criminal Minds after a pretty damn good Sons of Anarchy, and clean sheets. Yep, I am blessed. Although, the next time I make Pad Thai it will be on my own terms, not from a super awesome organic mix.
