Hah I'm just lucky my job also includes being able to lurk the forums occasionally ...or more than occasionally. I am so excited to stop by boardie camping, I think I'll put "ashleyoverdrive" on a name tag or something just to see who recognizes me.
OH and speaking of that, another contribution to this thread: I had to call one of our sponsors to ask a quick question and upon introducing myself as "Ashley, I'm [my boss]'s intern," she said she recognized me from the message boards. I said thanks but I felt like I should have asked if I was doing a good job hahaha

2nd day of not doing any work at all.. no work until next monday... both kids at daycare.. i don't have to pick them up... which leads me to what's making me happy... i am going to happy hour for first time in a LONG time.

18 weeks pregnant today and feeling the little bean moving more and more
im 21 weeks and i love this too! does your little bean seem to have certain times of the day that they are more active? mine is always rocking and rolling around 11:30... i have a little night owl party animal on my hands!

Went to a KICK ASS show last night where I was guest listed for street teaming/promoting the event. After a small mix-up at the door [which I had prepared for], the tour manager straightened everything out for me. I had a great time in the crowd, even if I got a bit banged up in the mosh, and loooooong story short...got to sit side stage for my favorite band at the end of the night. Also got to talk so some amazing new people and some band members, which is always my favorite part of shows.
However, the part that made me happiest was after one of the bands' sets and a bunch of kids were grabbing for a drum stick tossed into the crowd. I didn't get it but I stopped fighting after a minute or two, figured it wasn't worth it. The kid who ended up getting the drum stick gave it to me, even after I initially objected, he was just really nice about it. Another kid a couple minutes later saw me with the stick and noted how lucky I was, and offered me $10 for it. I said if he'd just get me a bottle of water I'd be happy to give it to him. He did! I just really love how even in heavier genres like last night, some of the fans are such wonderful and kind people. Makes me all the more excited for Vibes!

My husband, my sleeping baby, coffee, reading my book later in the cool central air'd house while baby takes a nap, being caught up with laundry and chores, going on a little outing later with baby, Rich is going to Phish tonight at SPAC and I hope he has a blast! Cape Cod in a few days...lots of stuff & things & stuff!

Oh, hi there.. j/k .. i know a thing about rambling... anyway.. what's making me happy is that i get to sit my fat ass in a pool all day then get fed BBQ.. gotta love taking the kids to their grandparent's house... Also, continuing to teach my 4 year old to swim.. that's awesome.. especially when he says, "daddy, let go.. i can do it by myself!! "

Happy to be getting out of work early today...to go smell hotel rooms. Yes, you read that correctly. Someone told my boss that the rooms at this particular hotel smelled musty and she wants me to check it out. Intern life, it's pretty glamorous.
Also happy that my little sister just passed her license test today and will be driving around all on her own once I'm off to Vibes and she has full reign of the car. So proud of her :3

Having our daughter stay with us for a two week visit, (the longest stay at our house since she was in high school)and attend Peach Music Fest with us.
