My awesome husband doing a bang-up job of getting a gig! 
Knowing that we will get so share time and space together before Christmas!!!
My new gig being something I look forward to being at every day that I am there!

a job that continues to make me smile
deciding to stay local for the next few weekends and not run myself into the ground traveling
an awesome weekend, one day of totally laziness and another full of family loving and errand running
amazing friends

A fun and productive weekend with some great friends, some Soulive and the Cardinals winning the World Series.
Some great talks with the Lizzard. It makes not seeing her in a while a little easier to deal with.
New Years plans figured out! Can't freakin' wait!!
Things going smoothly at work, and seeing some things I suggested many years ago to make our lives easier are finally being implemented!
Some great costumes from the kids out trick-or-treating! We ran out of candy after giving out very little the last year or two.

Two solid leads on NYE tickets
getting a phone call from a former tutoring client to tell me he's reading on grade level now! It meant a lot to me that he wanted to call and share with me
all the amazing connections I've made through these boards and the music community

Finding an awesome cozy wool sweater that was priced just-right...
And I picked the two hunter champions from the bunch during their rounds - havn't been involved with horses in over 10 years, but I can still pick the winners!

a great day of parent teacher conferences and getting things done in my classroom in between appointments!
Keller Friday and one of my favorite friends sleeping over
amazing friends in general, always there with a helping hand, giggle, shoulder to cry on, or a swift kick in the ass
my health, so many people I know have so many health issues lately....I'm glad I'm healthy and happy
Rock and Roll weekend is getting closer by the minute!

~ coming home to a clean apartment
~ catching up with friends
~ seeing Jamiebear, Jennie, and so many other wonderful friends for Phish!
~getting a day added to my school break! Oh ya! (it is a federal holiday...so they added it on!)

a great gig last night
a good productive day yesterday, which included opening some new avenues for me
making some good progress on some projects
seeing some family for Christmas dinner
a relaxing weekend
one day of work next week
taking NYC by storm next week with Liz and a bunch of friends for 4 nights of Phish and a New Deal show!

finished baking my last pan of hello dollies.
finished prepping my last batch of pierogies (extra old cheddar, mushroom and onion
)
drinking yummy coffee and chilling out with my boys.
a few more goodies on deck to bake with lots to give to our guests tomorrow and to donate to a local tavern that does a free dinner for anyone who wants to attend. it is amazing, full turkey dinner with all the fixin`s and it is for people who can`t afford to do their own dinner or people who are lonely and want company on christmas -- no questions asked. there`s live music and all kinds of fun. the mayor of ottawa even volunteers.

A fun weekend of parties, good friends, and more football than I've probably ever watched in my life.
The LizZard and her insight and ability to help me look at situations from other aspects, ultimately helping me make the best of some of them!! I'm also happy that she is loving her classes and kicking major ass in them too!
Having a full sized spare tire, helping me avoid the need to throw down money for a new set of tires this weekend
Getting new music from friends!
Catching some great live music in the next few months!

Being 2 smoke free for 2 days! I went for an acupuncture treatment yesterday....I'm amazed how well I"m doing..I've had one really bad urge...it lasted about 3 hours...but I got through and have no urge again.
A great day with my students
My observation meeting with my principal went well. She had nothing but positives to say about my students, teaching, and room
Letting things/people/habits that no longer serve me go, and actually walk on
Those microwavable heat bags...it's freaking COLD in my apartment....but these are helping keep portions of me warm
my Barnes and Nobel order will be here tomorrow
