enjoying the first snowfall of the year 
sleeping/snuggling until the crack of noon
french toast with warm maple syrup, scrambled eggs with green onion and goat cheese, orange juice and fresh pineapple

Long walk with my off leash dawgs who were so well behaved!
Home made ceasar dressing and croutons.
Beer.
My husband is getting out of work at 4 and doesn't have to go back til Tuesday!
The 2 posts above me - I woke up without a backache for the 1st time in about a month today!
AND The Dead are playing on my birthday - 4/17!
Oh, and the pic of Summers' kitty:smile:

homemade chicken soup
watching the big kid play hide and seek with the little kid while i cooked
mackenna's jumparoo-mini-moon-bounce and the somersaults she's mastering on it
the prospect of time alone with my fiance for the first time in over a week (go to bed mack, go to bed!!!!)
mackenna butt bumping down the stairs (super duper fast)
everything, really.
life is good, yo!

I feel a LITTLE better.
Caleb and I survived the boring wait at the mall haircut place and Em likes her haircut.
I found my best friend from middle school on facebook today. Our dads' jobs (army) separated us but then there's the advances of technology.
Wine sounds good but I'm not feeling THAT much better. So, I'm very happy with the non-dairy smoothie Mik made for me.
Caleb and I survived the boring wait at the mall haircut place and Em likes her haircut.

I've been working relief at this group home for about two years now, and one of the guys has never so much as uttered a word to me, ever. When I give him his meds I talk to him as if he were going to answer, but he usually looks at the ground and might give a nod to answer a question. This morning he came to the med room and asked if I was working the double shift. I replied yes, and he said, "Cool." I suppose it doesn't sound like much, but it is to me.
