Yawn.Don't tell TASB that that's what it's all about...
That certainly applies to today's misguided belief that economics is a hard science. It does not fit the model that economics is a social science and human action can not be quantified. Predicting piss pour attempts at hard science in the field become rather easy though.

Well, that is kinda how the predictions that are accurate work. By seeing the unseen consequences of poor central planning.
In a truly freed market and eocnomic atmosphere, predicting things becomes much more difficult. it also leads to far less cascading inter-market downturns that a re much shorter lived.
At any rate, it's a good picture that captures the essence of todays economic mentality, sans those that can have and keep predicting thing accurately.
