I can't express how grateful I am to be sober. My life was a mess and so was I.,mentally,physically and spiritually. If I stay clean one day at a time I never have to feel that way again. Thanks to everybody who helps another addict!

Just had to bring up this old post to express how damn lucky I am to be ALIVE! I have put myself in so many situations over the years that I am grateful to have escaped. I thank my higher power for my daily reprieve from the insanity of my former life.

Just got back from my home group...it's incredible how good bein around of a bunch of recovering drunks can make me feel. Good things happen to drunks that don't drink.
