While it's nice to be able to bump the road record to 11-18, I'm not celebrating anything with a sweep against Baltimore.

Let's see what we do against a starting to surge Cleveland and then the Yankees at home.

i'm with ya.. it's good to get some wins on the road, but look at who we're dealing with.

wow, i can't believe you didn't make it last year! i went to 3 losses last year. still waiting for my first WIN there...

5 and 1 since I've been going...the 1 loss was the tickets I actually paid for!!!
probably the only perk I have at work is tickets and even then I am usually an afterthought to get 'em...but I'll still take 'em:wink:

http://www.nypost.co...C-rss&FEEDNAME=It really is an unfair advantage for the Mets to have arguably the most intelligent Manager and General Manager in major league baseball. When Fred Wilpon decided to pair Omar Minya with Jerry Manuel together, you would have thought that the commissioner would have stepped in immediately and blocked such a union just as the then commissioner did when the Yankees were trying to trade for ALL of the Oakland A's back in the 70's. It's somewhat amusing to sit here as a Mets fan and watch all of the so called "experts" bowing in shame for not realizing sooner that R.A. and/or Takahashi is just as good, if not better, then Roy Oswalt. I for one never saw that one coming when the Mets signed R.A. At his current pace he will, not only be a 15 game winner, but may just make the Hall of Fame. Okay, I can't do this anymore. I am just so tired of the Mets acting like they are so much smarter then everyone else. Oswalt was, is, and always will be leaps and bounds above R.A. and Hisanori. If I'm in the playoffs, I want Santana, Pelfrey and Oswalt. That's Roy Oswalt, not Oswald, as in Lee Harvey. Oh wait, now I get it, Jerry must have meant Lee Harvey not Roy. Then yes I agree 100%, R.A. and Taka-what's-his-name are just as good. Unless of course Lee Harvey is allowed to pitch from a school book depository then my money is on Lee Harvey to pitch a perfect game.

Normally I'd say interleague play should EABoD, but...
1. Braves play Tampa Bay (.635)
2. Mets (1.5 GB) play Cleveland (.403)
3. Phillies (3.5 GB) play Yankees (.635)
