I'll take what we've gotten from of Johan, who is who we acquired when we traded away Humber, over having a perfect game on the record books any day.

Shame I've already got plans for dinner tonight, else I might have seen about getting out of work an hour early to catch these games at those prices. Bet it's gonna be cold at the park tonight though.
dinner plans can already be changed, unless it's on your child's birthday...in which case you take her/him to the game, anyway.
and i already covered the cold aspect of today's double dip with the purchase of two dunkin donuts coffees at the game.

yeah, we know guys. heaven forbid you sneak a flask in, or have some coffee, or put on a Mets stocking cap from stocking cap day, and root on your hometown team.
Oh, bite my ass, Colin.
Besides, I see you're not going either so your namecalling is invalid. Wimp.

Ike was up w/bases loaded 2x yesterday...in the same game!!...and couldn't plate one run.
I am going with Gram-Man optomism with Ike.
He missed almost a whole season (4 months). It is going to take him time to get into his rythem.
Although, this is the Met team I expected and predicted.
