Joe Scarpa, who became one of the best-known professional wrestlers of the 1970s and ‘80s after he took on the persona of Chief Jay Strongbow, an American Indian whose war dance foretold the downfall of many opponents, died Tuesday.

My dad worked at the local gas station in the mid 70's in Hamburg, Pa where was home of the world renowned Hamburg Field House which had all kinds of big wrestling matches in that time. He met all these guys. RIP Chief
