i walk through the woods all over the towns around me and
there is SOOO much deadfall!
all it will take is one errant spark from a backyard chiminea or a stupid smoker and *poof*
pretty much any areas with a stand of woods are just glorified bonfires right now around here

R.I. Looks better than CT. Keep paddling.
Milford, Conn. (WTNH)—Firefighters are on the scene battling a brush fire in Milford.
The fire broke out shortly after 6 p.m., in the area of 750 Bridgeport Ave.
The smoke could be seen as far away as Bridgeport as the 911 calls came in.
The fire caused Route 1 to close, businesses to be evacuated, and people were asked to leave their homes.
Metro North train service was also suspended as a result of the blaze.

News 12 has cool night shots of the fire...not too sure I'll feel the same way when daylight coverage begins
That's what was messed up!!!! Like, Scary Messed up! The fires will def. last throught the night, into morning, and that's when they will determine if they call in the national guard? Shit.. A lot of land can burn between now and sunrise!
