Turns out she left the owner (who never shows up until noonish) an email instead of calling me first thing in the morning like she usually does.

CB continues to remind me of the billing guy we got rid of a few years ago, due to instability and what turned out to be some serious mental illness.
She's exhibiting the same sort of angry erratic behavior, with periods of calm in between.
The boss actually had to yell at her a few times to shut up when she was going off on me last Friday, and he is NOT a yeller.
I hope she doesn't own any guns.

No - it's a small family company that just does what they feel like.

But I did just hear from a co-worker that the boss told her that her behavior was totally unacceptable, which she interpreted as him taking sides with me and not a reflection on her behavior.
I have a really bad feeling that this is only going to get worse and there's nothing I can do about it.
