nooo, not that, sillies...
at exactly 3:18 tomorrow afternoon, it will be a Full Pink Moon
i use the Farmers Almanac description, as it uses the American Indian-given meanings
Full Pink Moon – April This name came from the herb moss pink, or wild ground phlox, which is one of the earliest widespread flowers of the spring. Other names for this month’s celestial body include the Full Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon, and among coastal tribes the Full Fish Moon, because this was the time that the shad swam upstream to spawn.
so, if your day/week is going
or if you are feeling a little bit more than usual, here is your 'excuse'
a full moon friday...thats *gotta* be a good thing, right?

Waning gibbous 55% full. Well done
i knew it'd be close to half.
anyway, i dropped by the airport in Westhampton to watch planes at sunset before my gig out east (Long Island) last night, and watched a big HC-130 AIr National Guard search and rescue ship land right in front of the rising pink moon. and it sure was pink, not half over the horizon. just gorgeous, i stuck around until it was fully up. it wasn't until i left that i realized i'd blown a sweet Kodak moment...but sometimes it's better that way.
of course the moon's pink 'cause it's cutting through our atmospheric gasses on the horizon, but still it was stunningly beautiful.
