Can someone run down how camping works? I keep hearing about 2 different sides, etc. Is there camping near trees, on beach, etc? Thanks in advance!

Near trees yes, I don't believe they let you camp on the actual beach itself. You'll be directed to your spot so I don't think you get to decide on your own exactly where you'll be.

Mainly grass fields in the open sun. There are trees but those spots get taken fast. All camping is within a few minute walk to the sound. Bring your own shade it gets hot!

This, no camping on the beach, although camping is near the beach.

Totally agree with previous post. Bring your own shade. Hopefully, this year GOTV will not be during a heat wave like last years 100 + degree weather.
